I had trouble, on at least 4 separate days this past week, deciding which of 2 photos to post and so, finally deciding whatthehell? why not just throw caution to the wind, I'm including them all. Consequently, instead of my usual 7, I've posted 11. I know that this is not 'the way' of the 365 Photography Project, but, like Joseph Campbell advised, I must follow my own bliss.

Sunday February 6, 2011_South San Jose looking east-ish. This isn't a day I had trouble deciding actually, under the cut is the view looking west-ish as reference.

Sunday February 6, 2011_South San Jose Turn around & and this is the view of IBM where my husband works. Very very cool building in the middle of a pasture and the hills. Their other building, The Research Facility, has the really cool location up in thos hills.

Monday February 7, 2011 An album that signifies the completion of a mission101</lj>  project having to do with organizing our clothing.

Tuesday February 8, 2011 Another mission101</lj> project to tag, edit, and annotate my photographs on flickr. This is on-going probably forever.

Wednesday February 9, 2011 The beginnings of spring, my flowering plum.

Thursday February 10, 2011 Adam&  on Ellen

Friday February 11, 2011 Victory in Egypt with Richard Engle, I love how happy he looks.

Friday February 11, 2011 I not only like the look on the woman's face but also the way the photo got the scene just as it was changing.

Saturday February 12, 2011 Me walking ahead on our way to Cup&Saucer for dinner which is blurry because...
David & Lauren walking ahead on our way to Cup&Saucer. He bumped me in order to get past.

That first picture is so awesome. The color gradient from light grey to almost black and the shape is almost a ragged conical. It looks almost like an ash cloud or smoke. Very cool!

My first reaction was also an ash cloud. Awesome. FanSee

I have to admit, I'm glad it isn't an ash cloud. That would have put a damper on the day for sure. But isn't that the cool thing, what can be seen as there, that isn't?

I love black&white, form takes precedent over color, I took the same shot in color and it wasn't nearly as neat looking. Glad you liked.

What a great set! I am so jealous of your flowering tree, aaah. (Though I can't complain too much because it's been unseasonably warm this week and the snow is finally starting to melt.)

I really love the Egypt ones, especially the woman.

Weeeel, this week it rains and rains so, while the flowers are still there, the scene isn't nearly so spring-like. I'm glad you like the Egypt ones, the look on the woman's face is radiant, but that smile on Engle's face tells the story. I probably took 30 to 40 shots in order to get two that worked.

Great pics, love the first two!
Adam is gorgeous, and YAY!- you have a budding tree. :)
xoxo

I'm ready for some buds on my tree. FanSee

'I'm ready for some buds on my tree.'
You want 'buds' on your 'tree', huh? I'm sure you do ;)

Not to worry, spring will comes, it always does.

I also really like the juxtaposition of those 2 shots, that they're across the street from each other is so cool.

Adam, what can I say? with Ellen, with Monte, terrific.

In fact, I have two of the same variety, flowering plums, one in front, one in back and both well...flowering.

There;s usually one photo each post that's pretty nice nature-wise, which I feel like I want to put above-the-cut so I'll get people to notice my post but that just feels so wrong, like self-serving. Fortunately with this one, its natural placement WAS above-the-cut so, that worked out. Glad you, especially, liked it, it's nice to make SJ look good.

The first photo is amazing! The trees look surreal but the whole really does look like the plume from an erupting volcano!

And I'm jealous of your buds! Here I thought we were doing well because it was 6C (43F). :)

'but the whole really does look like the plume from an erupting volcano!'
Nice visual and would you believe, last week I was having to water the lawn due to lack of rain and summerish temps. Of course, this week it rains and rains and rains, which is very very very good. Still, spring is coming.

Love the ones of Adam of course and the first landscape shot is beautiful. All are great :)

thanks, I knew Adam would be a hit, he always will be I'm sue.

The first one is simply wonderful my dear!
It took my breath away.

Loved also the one with our beloved Adam ♥

As always, thanks for sharing. It's a pleasure to see the pics =)

I'm glad you included them all because I really like the clothing album shot. Who is in the framed photo? Also, the last two on the way to dinner - i like the before and after effect and the smiling Egyptian woman as the screen changes is a great shot.

the framed photo is a school photo of my dad, probably taken his junior year. I'm glad you like those last 2, I thought they came out so strange.

it was a busy week, makes this easy if I can just remember to pick up the camera. Honestly, we have signs of spring all around, which can be scary since we need water to avoid drought. We'll just have to see how that goes.

'Maybe you'll get more rain in March/April...'
That's my hope then, for you and us.
