Three Photos from the week of Sunday October 16 to Saturday October 22, 2011

Monday October 17, 2011_After I drop Lauren off at her dorm, which is nestled in the redwoods, this is the roadside view about five minutes later, overlooking Santa Cruz with the Pacific just licking in at the right.

Tuesday October 18, 2011_Cindy and I went to a town meeting regarding the planned Wal-Mart only to learn that it is, in fact, a done deal, nothing can stop it being built and now it's all only in the details. Will or won't they be open all night, will or won't they be given a liquor license? And so on. This photo shows our Chief of Police standing to the right with our District 9 San Jose City Council Member Don Rocha, in the suit, seated to the left. There are actually many more people to the right but I wanted the councilman and the chief. The meeting was held in the auditorium of a local high school, John Muir.

Friday October 21, 2011_And back I go to bring Lauren home as we had very important appointments at the hair salon. While I waited for her to get out of class, get back to her dorm, get packed and come to me, I got bored and wondered taking some photos of the towering redwoods I mentioned above. She goes back tomorrow and I won't see her for three whole weeks...meh

The flickr of our lives

Hope everyone is doing well and had a terrific weekend.

'I think I see my parent's house in the fist one - hehe!'
It's that pretty little blue one, right? :)

I'm glad they bring you good feelings, I will certainly try and post more.

The black and white one is a great shot.

Thank you!! I wanted it to look oldish, like from the 1950's, so I messed with the contrast just a little. I think it worked.

The redwood pic s beautiful!
You know how much I love b&w, right?

Awww... three weeks! That sucks!
Hope time will go by very fast ♥

'Awww... three weeks! That sucks!
Hope time will go by very fast ♥'

Happily, one week has gone by already, so...yay!!!

And yeah, I had kind of noticed you had a thing for b&w. I plan on doing more, I'm really enjoying it.
