When I estimated in my head how many would be involved in Bay Area March, I thought maybe 50,000.
Estimates are:
100,000 in San Francisco
60,000 in Oakland
25,000 in San Jose
A bit more than I thought :)

Aaron, Katie, Cindy, & me above and everyone else below. Well, a tiny tiny bit of everyone else belw :)

I'm so happy for the turnout and for people all over the world taking this wonderful action. I believe we can get through this.

I believe you are right, taking it day by day, we will get through this. The main thing is to stay involved, active, ya' know? And we will :)

Great shots~ Thank you for walking for all of us who can't or couldn't!

Thank you. And you are more than welcome :) hopefully next time, and there will be many next times, I believe, you'll be sickness-free and able to be there also.

Seeing the pics of all the other marches gives me hope. ♥

It does!! I have a friend from Colorado who also went to D.C. with her two daughters. She was there with you!! So cool. so hopeful!!

For the first time in months I feel hope not only for the US but for every other country that will be effected by Trump. Thank you for marching! I spent the weekend telling my old parents about what's happening in the world. They were so happy to learn there are people willing to take the fight.

That matters so much, that people can again find hope. I know I felt that being surrounded by all these amazing and diverse people, hearing chanted 'What does democracy look like? This is what democracy looks like!!!' echoing off our little city's walls.. And I am so glad these world-wide events were able to make your parents happy :)

Marched in Sacramento with over 30,000 of my best friends. Local TV and the Sacramento Bee initially estimated 20,000; KCRA and the Sacramento Police Department revised their estimates to 30,000 later in the day.

That's so terrific!! It was the same here. after I posted, they revised the total in San Jose to around 30,000 like you guys :) I'm sorry to say I've always thought of San Jose as a big town but now, it really is a little city to me and that is a real step forward. I'm glad, for all of us, that the march was such a good experience.

If you happened to hear a group spontaneously break into Happy Birthday, that was for my mother-in-law, who turned 81 the day of the march. ♥

Oh how I wish I could say yes but, alas, no :) But that we were all there at the same time just makes an already remarkable day even more so.

Happy belated 81st birthday kshandra's mother-in-law!!
