365 Photography Project_Eleventh Post

I hope everyone is having a wonderful, fulfilling holiday season.

Photobucket
Sunday December 19, 2010 My arty attempt to show that my flowering plum is now nude and that there's rain on the window as my glass horse gallops after my stained-glass angel.

Monday December 20, 2010 THE eclipse @ around midnight Pacific time. We frozen our asses off I tell you.

Photobucket
Tuesday December 21, 2010 Barnes&Noble an hour after closing as the closing crew is leaving and Brian, being a good manager, straightens the Christmas bags under the Games table. I like being in the store when there aren't any customers.

Photobucket
Wednesday December 22, 2010 One  of my tasks was to straighten out my craft 'area', which with Lauren's help turned out to be fun and alot more got straightened out than I would have imagined.

Photobucket
Thursday December 23, 2010 Another lunch, again @ Cocos, so I took a photo of the nearly empty pies & pastries display because it is, after all, Christmas Eve's eve. You can vaguely see me reflected in the mirror taking the pic with Lauren.

Photobucket
Friday December 24, 2010 Our hodge-podge of wrapping papers and bags, whatever works. We do Christmas on Christmas Eve so, within hours this was no more, although the tree still twinkles even as I write.

Photobucket
Saturday December 19, 2010 Christmas dinner They were obviously not prepared for me to take their pic, I was going, mainly, for the table. We had Pernil, said perni, which is a pork shoulder roast done Puerto Rican style, a simple over-night marinade, served with roasted carrots, baked sweet potatoes, fresh cranberry sauce, and, naturally, champagne. I broke out the good dinner & glass ware...whoot!!

thanks, it's hard to imagine that I planted that big thing when it was just a little thing all by myself.

You know, I gotta tell you, I will be sadface when December is done and your studly icon will go away...sigh. Well, there's always next year, right?

Hee! I am always sad to see Santa Jake and his pecs go away too, but he will definitely be back next year. ;-)

thank you!!

with that first one, I wanted to show the tree but on it's own it was really very boring and as it was too cold to go out, you see the results, through my bedroom window. Glad you liked.

Those pics are simply amazing!
I truly enjoyed this post.
I love to take pictures too. I always need to have my camera with me.

I adore the one of the eclipse!

Thanks for sharing =)

thank you!!
I really wasn't sure if my little point&shoot was up to the task of an eclipse, but it did alright. When I started this project 11 weeks ago, I wasn't sure if I was up to the task of taking a photo every day, but honestly so far it's been so much fun and when I'm done, I'll have such a sweet photo-scan of the year. Actually when I'm done, I'll probably just start again, this could become a life long habit.
Thanks so much for commenting.

and, naturally, champagne.

Naturally.

I have two bottles of champagne left over from the holidays that tempt and tease me every day to open them

Well, Valentines is just around the corner, champagne seems fitting.

Can I tell you, opening my email and finding a bunch of emails from you is so very very cool. Even though I know it's going to takes some time to read and answers them, it's time well spent because I like your observations. Plus, like this time, it's a stroll down memory lane. So, thank you. I hope you never get bored and go away. I would be sad.

Tigbit calls it my my 'comment runs'. No sadness! As long as I have good health and electricity, I'll be around. :)
