Your interpretation for "loss" is very moving.

their sheer number was very moving really, as was their display since as they are outdoors, they are moved by the wind, touched by the sunlight and are actually very beautiful.

Sobering, yes, but the way the sunlight played over them, the wind moved through them, it was beautiful as well. Just...so many, right?

And as I mentioned to someone else, this is just one of several ceiling paintings in this library and why it pays to live in the city.

I <3 wonder.

'I <3 wonder.'
and I agree and the real wonder is that this was only one of several ceiling paintings throughout the library...stunning.

Love your icon.

I would totally be bumping into people just to look at all the paintings.

Oh my word! I couldn't figure out what was in the picture for 'Loss' until I read the comments! Now I want to weep.

Before the photos, I explained a little those photos I thought people might not know right away. It was sad but very beautiful somehow also, with the sunlight dancing around & off of them, their display just tucked between these 2 buildings, almost peaceful. But yeah...sad.

Ditz that I am, I didn't even notice your explanation. :/

Why were they displayed there? It seems an unlikely place.

And yes, the sun-sprites playing over them is incongruously lovely.

Don't know, I took the photo in Boston, we were just passing through.

the kid ultimately decide not to apply to SCU, but I sure did like the campus, very pretty and yeah, I very much like the interpretation of using the dog-tags.

Wonder is beautiful and Loss is so sad.

Took me a second to work out what was in the photograph for Sweet until I realised they were lolly pops. Again the reflection threw me LOL

Imagine, it's a library ceiling, truly a wonder and loss is sad. Normally, I just rake photos and hope they match up to some word I need, but as soon as I saw this store window I knew I had my sweet.

I really love "loss" even if it's really sad.
'Sweet' is amazing and 'stale' in b&w is really great!

Loss I think, is sad yet strangely pretty, all those hanging dog-tags between two buildings, just...there. thanks for stopping by.

The book sculpture is great, there need to be more like this everywhere. I thought the dog tag picture was photo of large office/apartment buildings at night superimposed over the fire escape one. The dog tags look like windows in the building.
It's my favorite picture.

Great visual, I can see where you might see it that way, if only I knew how to do double-exposures within the camera which is one of the rules of 100_snapshots all must be done withing the camera except a little cropping.

The loss one is my favorite. I like the angles, as well as the whole concept.

I think it's probably my favorite as well, a very tall display which isn't that obvious from the photo and just tucked away between buildings. Kind of stopped me short as we were passing through.
