Sunday June 19, 2011 Unless you're into GlamNation this is meaningless, but personally, I squeed 'ooooh, Lauren look...GLAM Bedding right next to TOMMY Bedding!!!!! (at Bed Bath & Beyond)

Monday June 20, 2011 Our soon-to-be OSH conceptualized in print.

Tuesday June 21, 2011
For Lauren:
Like the vases, the wooden statue on the left, belonged to Great-Grandma Helena and was given to me by Grandpa Rode so I bought the one on the right to give it a companion.

Wednesday June 22, 2011 Me about to go to work.

Thursday June 23, 2011 our friends in front of Chevys. Left to right: Regina, Tim, Joanna, James, Todd, Jimmy, Cindy, and Lauren

Friday June 24, 2011 At Sant Cruz beach, a particula part we know as Butterfly Beach because the monarchs return every year very near by, but that is actually called Natural Bridges. Left to right are: Lauren, Joanna, Jimmy and James.

Saturday June 25, 2011 the fun never stops. I think I'll make this into a little photo album all on its own :D

I love the bedding picture, both because of the content and because it's a cool picture on its own. And I'm happy that you posted your second monthly picture of you ready for work. FanSee

I'm glad you like the bedding pic, I was so OMG when I saw them AND side by side.

Not easy dealing with pics of myself, I usually have to delete five or six before I take one I can handle :D

Tell me again, what is the building going to be when it's completed? Why are you documenting this, is it close to home or was it something else and is rebirthing itself? I need context!

The arch at the beach - safe to walk through?

What kind of name is Rode? Northern European?

I like your self portraits. :)

It's becoming an Orchard Supply Hardware, OSH, a local-ish nursery/ hardware/ etc store that I like, but the awesome aspect is that the Mervyns that had been there for years had been closed for over 2 years, which was depressing for the neighborhood in general and for the mall it was a part of in particular. OSH will bring in lots of people which will be good for the other stores that surround it. I'm taking the photos, as you can see, from the same place each week and it takes me about a minute to get there, so yeah...very close to home, we see it whenever we leave the house.

The arch is safe, when the tide is low, otherwise the water is too deep and rather harsh. The day before we were there, some dude climbed to the top, but had to be brought down by helicopter because he couldn't get himself down or so a ranger told us.

Rode was my father's mother's maiden name and German I believe, it's pronounced Row...dee.

Thank you :)

Orchard Supply Hardware - I've never heard of this but I like the concept. Plants are cool!

The dude is like a cat with the fire department.

Maybe he was from here:

Mainly in northern California, I think, it is, or has been, a part of Sears, but was established in 1931 as a supply cooperative for farmers residing in the Santa Clara area. Santa Clara Valley is now known as Silicon Valley but it was once known as 'the valley of heart's delight', if you can imagine.

Ooooh, thanks for the link, I will definitely check it out, that was very nice of you to do :D

You're welcome! The Valley of Heart's Delight is a beautiful name, too bad on the rename.

GLAM Bedding - TOMMY Bedding
OMG that's soooooo cool!!! ♥

Love the pic you took of yourself, and also the one of your friends =)

Beautiful also the one at Sant Cruz beach.

Thanks for sharing =)

I have to believe that someone who works at the store knows about them because really all that bedding could have been put together in some many different combinations and yet...!!!

I was glad to get some of friends since usually I'm not able to :)

Love the beach shot -- would like to be there right about now. :-)

Natural Bridges is a lovely little stretch of beach with the ocean before you and a little lagoon behind and bluffs all around, we mostly go there because it's never too crowded. I wish you could see it sometime.
