I love the array of beautiful family pics in the top photo. Is that your family's heritage in pics?

it is something of my family's heritage, the bigger photos are all my mom's side, except the one of my mom, dad, and me of course, my dad's are all in the album to the right. I haven't created the albums for my mom's family yet, way more photos to deal with. Maybe next mission101 !!

What is that in the second one, a deer?
Mar. 6th, 2012 02:14 am (UTC)
as FanSee said, it's a little wisp of a deer, part of a larger herd who were all walking down, with only this one climbing.

Connected, Climb
I love Connected even though it reminds me that I should hunt down and archive carefully all of our family photos. I've done a good job with those I've taken over the last 65 years, but I've done nothing with those I inherited.

Where did you take Climb? That little wisp of a deer is precious. FanSee

Re: Connected, Climb
The little album holds my father's family photos, I also still need to do my mom's side which is a great deal more because like you, I've done pretty well with everything since David and I met, but what I've inherited...not so much. Unfortunately, I don't really know who the people are in most of my father's family photos. Good luck with your project, once you start it ;D

Behind me is Lauren's dorm, at the top of the hill is the Crown College apartments, so...Santa Cruz. There was a little herd, but everyone else was walking down, not climbing up.

Cool. Really nice family photos laid out in nice design.

Gives me ideas.

these photos are actually kept in the box that can just be seen below the photos on the left since they're awkward with those cool little cardboard frames. The album to the right holds all of my father's family photos. Organizing them had been a project on my plate for a long time and it felt good to complete it. Now I just need to do the album, more like albums, for my mom's family. I purchased both the box and the album from Michaels!!

Good place to get reasonably priced albums. My problem with some of them was that the refills didn't fit the albums and had only two holes instead of three.

Must feel good to get that much done.

I like both of these, especially the first one.

thank you!! the first makes me smile and makes me sad realizing I'm the only one still alive, makes me just a little uneasy and Lauren my only blood relative.

Pic in the top left looks just like my Aunt Elaine, hair, color.

Bottom left look just like my Grandmother, Gradfather, her sisters and brothers photos taken at a place in Yorktown, TX.

Top left photo is one of my mom's high school yearbook photos while the bottom left photo is my grandfather's sister and brother-in-law to the left and my grandmother on her own to the right. I love that photo of my grandmother. It's very cool that we have family resemblances.

I'll bet you have one just like the pic of me with Santa!!

thank you, I love the family photo too!!!

and yes, the deer is walking up toward the Crown College apartments. In the other direction is where Lauren currently lives in the dorms. It was actually a small herd and they walked around like they owned the place, which I guess they do.

glad you liked the first one, has a lot of meaning.

The deer does blend in...natural camouflage!!
