Any Questions??!!??

  • 1
sorry, Connor, I don't understand your 'uhm?'

Go you! Great list of goals.

Thank you!! It just waits to be seen what I can make of them.

Does this kind of planning leave you any time for spontaneous things that come along?

I could never do this once a year. My needs change every four to six months.

In fact, I find not only that I get more done so that I don't have all this stuff hanging over my head I need to do, but that I have more time for spontaneous things. It's like once you've cleaned up the completely full closet, you find you have room left over for more things.

My needs don't change too much, I always need to clean the house and take care of the yard. I want to read, I want to learn, I want to get projects done. this just guides me, establishes better habits. And I change up little bits here and there as necessary.

Plus you'll notice, I did put in a lot of fun things, or at least I thinks so, like movies I want to rewatch!!

Thanks for the interesting questions, you help me think about why I love doing this :)

His Dark Materials, Paradiso and The Sound and the Fury. I look forward to your discussion on these.

I've only just begun 'His Dark Materials', should take awhile, but I will happily discuss when done, around the end of November. Hopefully.

The first chapter of His Dark Materials I found to be difficult because of the concepts and the way we are immediately thrown into the action but after that I was majorly hooked.

What is all of this for? Do you have any free time just to be spontaneous?

I have too much time to be spontaneous, with my husband at work all day and my child away at school most of the time, especially considering I'm up by 6:30am almost every day, I could easily waste days in a row, but doing so has always made me feel like I'm wasting my life so, instead of wasting days, I plan some of my time to 1) organize our life 2) get both past & current projects done 3) improving the quality of our lives and 4) be creative.

I've always loved to organize just about anything, yes, I am one of those freaks of loves lists, that's just how my mind works, and having done just that through mission101, I'm able to get lots done and still have plenty of time for spontaneity.

I have completed projects that otherwise I'd left uncompleted for ten years, I've redone all my QAF stories and am now working on 7 of my own, I've done 4 large scale drawings in the past 6 months where I hadn't done any for at least a couple of years and still, I have time for movies, books and LJ. I've been doing mission101 for about 3 years and for me it's...win/ win.
