What with this and that, photography has been kind of left in the dust, a situation I must rectify.
Focus, it's all about focus.
Nonetheless...

October31, 2012_Lauren's Baby Journal_in processOctober31, 2012_Lauren's Baby Journal_complete
These first two are being included now because I want them in the album and I forgot to include them in October so...
October 31, 2012_Lauren's Baby Book first in process and then complete. In the pouch are all of the Congrats-on-being-born cards. I then gave it to her for her 19th birthday on November 1, 2012.

January02_2013_Wednesday_December reading
Wednesday January 2, 2013_December reading_The bookclub book Taming Me, told form the perspective of a feral island kitten who finally settles down with a loving family, is written by a friend of one of the bookclub women. Very cool. The Serpent and the Grail is strange. It's a retelling of the Arthurian Legend but within a inflationary multi-universe where all gods who are believed in continue to have power.

January03_2013_Thursday_Spaghetti Factory birthday dinner
Thursday January 03, 2013_Jimmy and Lauren, sitting in fancy chairs at the Spaghetti Factory, waiting to be seated so Cindy & I could celebrate our combined birthdays dinner, Cindy's is Christmas Day and mine is New Year's Eve.

February01_2013_Friday_setupFebruary01_2013_Friday_January books & media
Friday February 1, 2013_January books & media_First photograph is how I set up what I'm going to read. The stack to the right is what I'm planning on reading for the next several months, the stack in the middle is the current month's, and the stack to the left is what's been done. The second photograph is December's reading & media, The Teaching Company's Masterpieces of the Imaginative Mind, which discussed Fantasy and Science Fiction books and authors which went nicely with Isaac Asimov's The Foundation Trilogy, which I loved. Asimov isn't much of a lyrical writer, but man, does he tell a good story. I'll been reading more in this series.

That is all.

Fancy antiques are a hallmark of all the Spaghetti Factories I've been to, velvet this, stained-glass that. Ours even has a San Francisco cable car in the middle of the main diningroom. It's always special when we get seated there!!

Do you have one local?

Don't think so -- had never even heard of the Spaghetti Factory before seeing this post. :) We do have the Cheesecake Factory though!
