Love these reports.

My, my, lots of reading this month...and some good stuff, too.

Was this your first reading of "To Kill a Mockingbird?" I read it for the first time in 2012 or 2013, also for a book club. It was published in 1960; I graduated high school in 1954, so (oddly enough) it was never assigned reading. I took college English in 1975 - 1977 but never took the sort of courses where TKaM would have been assigned reading. I might well have read it on my own -- I certainly knew of it -- but never did. I still haven't seen the movie.

Please hand me a slice of pizza. FanSee

If only I could hand you a slice. What a treat.

Yes, this was my first time reading Mockingbird. I was in HS in the late 60s and apparently the book hadn't attained 'assigned reading' status yet. For Lauren it had and she loved it and has been bugging me for YEARS to read it and now I happily have.

As for the movie, I've seen it several times and throughout my reading of the book, I kept hearing Gregory Peck's voice in my head. Very fine.

Love the new set of pics... and the sunshine in the background. :)

Thank you!! I'm glad.

Looks like the construction is turning your street into a hot mess. Bad thing about it is that, even though they'll "repair" the street, it's bound to fail shortly thereafter. :P

Food looks yummy though. :)
Nothing beats a good pizza!

It's the water company replacing their pipes and although the pipes will probably last, I wonder if the city will ever come back and fix the street. It really is a hot mess now that it's all patched together.

No truer words :)

Thank you! Awesome food does make awesome pics :)
