We're experiencing a Superbloom here-ish

Which means that in southern and central California, I'm in the north hence the -ish above, seeds that have been dormant for decades are now flowering because of an abundance of water this past autumn and winter. Normally, hills like these shown below are brown. After a decent rain, they are green. so, way to go water and long-dormant seeds for creating the pretty!!!

Jaw-droppingly beautiful! The extent of the bloom and the vibrancy of the colors is just amazing. What an end to your years' long drought. Thank you for sharing these pictures. FanSee

You are more than welcome! And you're right, this is a pretty spectacular maybe-end to the current draught. The amount of our rain this winter was amazing. Just hope that wasn't a one-shot deal :)

Amen. that's always a concern, of course, that the drought was the new normal. Hopefully, after this spectacularly wet season, you'll go back to an average amount of rain. FanSee
