We're experiencing a Superbloom here-ish

Which means that in southern and central California, I'm in the north hence the -ish above, seeds that have been dormant for decades are now flowering because of an abundance of water this past autumn and winter. Normally, hills like these shown below are brown. After a decent rain, they are green. so, way to go water and long-dormant seeds for creating the pretty!!!

That's beautiful! Is that rapeseed? We have a lot of that blooming here too.

From my very brief research, while we have a ton of wildflowers, it appears that rapeseed isn't one of them :( Although it is is sold as a green in some grocery stores :)
